Post-Construction and Renovation Cleaning
Fine dust, drywall residue, and construction debris do not disappear on their own. We remove what your contractor left behind so your renovated space is actually livable.
Renovations create a specific kind of mess that regular cleaning cannot handle. Drywall dust settles into every crevice, paint overspray clings to window frames, and construction adhesive leaves residue on new flooring. Your contractor finishes the build. We finish the cleanup.
Post-construction cleaning typically happens in stages. A rough clean removes large debris and bulk dust. A detail clean addresses surfaces, fixtures, and the fine particulate that coats everything within a 20-foot radius of the work zone. Most residential renovations need at least the detail stage, sometimes both.
We work with homeowners after kitchen and bathroom renovations, basement finishes, additions, and whole-home remodels across Durham Region. Timing is flexible because we know reno timelines shift constantly.

Frequently asked questions
When should I book post-construction cleaning?
After your contractor has finished all work and removed their tools and large debris. We handle the fine dust, residue, and detail cleaning that makes the space move-in ready.
How long does post-construction cleaning take?
It depends on the scope of the renovation. A single-room remodel (kitchen or bathroom) typically takes three to five hours. Whole-home renovations may require a full day or multiple visits.
Do you remove construction debris?
We remove light debris and packaging materials. Large items like lumber, drywall sheets, or appliance crates should be removed by your contractor before we arrive.
Is this different from a deep clean?
Yes. Post-construction cleaning addresses materials that a standard deep clean does not: drywall dust, paint overspray, adhesive residue, grout haze, and construction-grade grime. The techniques and time required are different.
Can you clean while some renovation work is still happening?
We prefer to come in after all construction is complete. Cleaning while work continues means dust resettles immediately, which wastes your money. If phased cleaning is necessary, we can discuss a staged approach.
Renovation done, dust everywhere?
Tell us what was renovated and when the work wraps up. We will schedule the cleanup around your contractor's timeline and send a clear quote.
